ABOUT
I believe all brand experiences, be it integrated, shopper, digital or experiential should be memorable, shareable and enjoyable. This is my aim as both an Art Director and Creative Director, when approaching any brief and also how I choose to lead my team.
With an experiential and integrated agency background spanning across both London and Yorkshire's top agencies, I have mentored creative teams, designers, account handlers and artworkers and have designed and implemented creative processes to insure that the agency works efficiently and thrives. I'm very focused on culture and ensuring the creative team are happy within their roles and I feel this is a big part of being a Creative Director.
Armed with a passion for innovation and industry leading ideas enables me to adapt easily to any brief or client requirement to ensure that the creative team creates the best solutions for brands.
During my career I have led large scale and impactful experiential campaigns for Coca-Cola, COTY (including Calvin Klein, Deep Euphoria & Givenchy), NBC Universal, 19 brands of Nestle, TK Maxx and L'Oreal as well as integrated campaigns for Dove, Disney, Mars and Sony. I often find myself working solo on pitches and leading strategy, I'm confident and comfortable working directly with clients and feel creatives should have strong relationships with the client.
What you will find with me is that I love to work across a wide variety of media, be it digital, social, shopper marketing, art directing photoshoots or experiential campaigns, I've done it all and love being able to work on a range of projects.
Not only am I happy to work across all sectors of marketing, but I also thrive on managing creative budgets and also project managing, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. I also act as the creative traffic manager within the agency, so I'm a dab hand at time sheets and creative time allocation.

TRIBE & PLAYMAKER XM
Creative Director
As the Creative Director across both agencies, Tribe and Playmaker  I headed up the creative team, which I grew and nurtured during my time there. I led Creative strategy and championed a strong creative process which I developed and implemented.  My skills where very much in creative strategy, Art Direction and conceptual thinking where I grew the Coca-Cola client from a small sampling arm of the company to a multi million pound experiential client with a strong social and digital focus..

Haygarth
Art Director
Working as an Art Director at Haygarth has given me a chance to work on many successful pitches and work in depth with more fashion orientated clients such as our L’oreal digital accounts, prodomantly Maybelline, Vichy and La Roche Posay. I recently launched Babylips for Maybelline and worked on London Fashion Weekend. Haygarth recognised that my skills stretch past Art Direction and conceptual thinking, my background as a Designer enables me to bring my ideas to life and means I can take on the role of both Art Director and Designer. I’m passioante about Art Direction and take great pride when art directing phoot shoots and bringing concepts to life. I have succesfully launched 3 new products this year through advertising and digital that I art directed and designed, for Maybelline, Rachel’s yogurt and Schwartz. I also worked as part of a team to pitch for and win our largest client Sony.

Billington Cartmell
Art Director
Whilst working at Billington Cartmell I have worked on a range of large retail focused clients including Dove, Mars, Galaxy, Carlsberg and Morrisons.
I have had the creative lead on a number of digital campaigns whilst working for BCL. My latest achievement has been for the client Dove which I successfully created a one year digital and press campaign to re-launch their range of Dove hair care. As well as working on a number of pitches for BCL I have also gained a lot of experience in art directing shopper focused instore campaigns, the most recent being a one year permanent point of sale strategy for Maltesers. I have also developed concepts for instore marketing promotions for clients Blue Dragon and Reggae Reggae sauce.

Brave
Art Director
Whilst working for Brave through Billington Cartmell I have worked closely with Tate & Lyle sugars. Working in a team with a copy writer we created a campaign platform for Tate & Lyle to launch a new range of baking ingredients. We where able to take a strong creative lead as a team with a range of 4 press ads to run through out the year, which I then confidentially presented to the client.
I have also been involved in the new digital Facebook app for John Frieda where I created a range of identities to be used on 'Bag a Box' an online game where you can bag expensive and designer prizes.
Working at Brave has strengthened my Art Direction skills and my ability to confidently and quickly create a range of concepts through tight black & white drawings and scamps.

Gratterpalm
Art Director
Gratterpalm recognised my conceptual skills early on which enabled my development into a combined designer and an art direction role. Some of the clients I have closely worked with include Asda, Greggs, Morphy Richards and Arla, which has given me a range of brand, retail and shopper marketing experience.
I have had the creative lead on a number of successful pitches for new business. Recently we where successful in obtaining our new client KC Communications. The pitch was based on my creative concept which is a campaign that can be translated across a variety of media.
My other recent achievements include successfully relaunching the WHAM confectionery bar from concept through to press ads and Viral. Creating and developing the brand identity for the new Moments cafe in Newcastle, for the client Greggs, which has received recognition in Design Week, Marketing Week and The Drum. I'm also proud of creating the new Morphy Richards logo to work alongside their new strap line and existing brand identity.

Lowd and Klea
Designer
During my time at L&K I was able to extend my experience in advertising and brand marketing. I also worked on an advertising brief for Durex and my concept was accepted by the client resulting in the studio winning more potential work. Before I left I was working on a re brand for the hair product Beever, redesigning their look books, posters, logo and point of sales. It was great to have the challenge of a huge brief as it taught me about budgets and the restrictions imposed
by the clients budgets
